Friends of Repton Parish Church
About us
Friends of Repton Parish Church is a registered charity, launched in 2020 with the aims of helping to conserve, repair and improve St Wystan’s church building, fixtures and churchyard for the benefit of all.
The Trustees are a mix of people committed to supporting these aims but not necessarily part of the worshipping community.
By raising funds through subscriptions, legacies, donations and fund raising events we are able to finance specific projects agreed by the Parochial Church Council to enhance and maintain the building in good condition for future generations to enjoy.
Floodlighting the tower and spire
Thanks to some generous donations Friends have successfully raised funds for our first project to replace the floodlighting of the tower and spire which has been out of use for some time. The new system is energy efficient and targets beams to minimise light pollution. It was switched on at our First Birthday event.
